STUDIO MANAGER & LEAD STYLIST

My name is Alissa, and I have the honor of being the Studio Manager/Lead Stylist here at Superior Blooms!

Though I pursued a degree in Exercise Science, and loved every second of it, I have always loved flowers. I think it all started because I loved going to visit my grandma Roz at the old Peterson Anderson flower shop downtown Duluth. Ironically, that shop was next door to where our studio now calls home.

Though I have pursued some amazing coaching jobs, and continue to work with kids after work, I guess my heart is a little bit multi-passionate!

From picking up various tidbits from her as a kiddo, to learning bouquet basics in her dining room as I designed a friend's wedding blooms a few summers ago, somehow it all lead me to working next door to the flower shop I loved to visit.

I couldn't be more blessed to get the opportunity to serve our beautiful, wonderful clients!

Almost 19 years ago, I got married and HATED my wedding flowers...I wasn't about to let that happen to anyone else, so I dove into the world of floristry, weddings, events, and business. Flash forward to today and I am lucky to be the owner of Superior Blooms. It's been a crazy, beautiful ride and every time I hand over a bridal bouquet, I come right back to my "WHY" - every wedding or event graced by flowers should be joyful, from the beginning of the planning to the last bloom.

I am overjoyed to work with clients to achieve their floral dreams and support my team of amazing floral stylists in our dreamy studio - come visit us!
